A Little About Me
I guess you could say I’m a naturalist at heart.
I’ve always been drawn to understanding nature — including human nature, and the nature of consciousness.
From my studies in ecology and culture to embodiment, philosophy, and healing traditions, I don’t experience a separation between the mundane and the mystical. Life itself feels like the practice.
I’m a devoted student of yoga and meditation, a bodyworker and guide, a creator and entrepreneur — and a mother of two young adults. I move through the world with curiosity, sensitivity, and a deep respect for lived experience.
Some of my simple joys include homemade chai, dancing in the kitchen, stopping to touch every flower, beach days, and unapologetic naps.
A Life of Practice
My work is shaped by listening to the body, to nature, and to subtle ways life teaches when we slow down enough to notice.

I came to yoga not as a fitness practice, but as a path of awareness — a way of cultivating presence, insight, and relationship with life as it is. From the beginning, yoga showed me that embodiment and spirituality are not separate pursuits, but different expressions of the same inquiry: how do we live well, with care and integrity, inside this human life?

Alongside this, I’ve spent decades studying the body from the inside out — anatomy, physiology, bodywork, and somatic healing — learning how experience, stress, and emotion live in our tissues, and how care and attention allow things to reorganize naturally.

What has emerged is a way of practicing that is responsive rather than prescriptive. Adaptable rather than idealized. I’m less interested in achieving forms, and more interested in cultivating qualities: steadiness, sensitivity, discernment, and ease.

Nature continues to be one of my greatest teachers. Seasonal rhythms, elemental patterns, and traditional frameworks such as Ayurveda and Chinese medicine often inform how I teach and practice — always oriented toward the balance between the individual and the whole.

At the heart of this work is a simple understanding: nothing essential is missing. Practice is not about becoming someone else, but about returning, again and again, to what is already here.

I’m here to support a practice that is truly yours — a living practice that meets you where you are, changes as you change, and supports a more intimate, easeful relationship with your life.
From the Heart,
Nicole
